as well as independent floral outlets

The Ohlmans lease a greenhouse
facility
in Athens, Alabama to reach
different markets.

An electrical fire erupts in the old
barn
causing major damage to our facilities
in the peak of shipping
season

Later the same year, the Ohlmans complete
the construction of a new, more modern,
facility located on the site
of the
blaze

Upon the passing of Lawrence “Bud” Ohlman
the business was passed on to his two
sons,
Larry Jr. and Mark.

Ohlman Farm & Greenhouse Inc. receives
the Century Farm Award marking over 100
years in the Northwest Ohio agricultural
industry

Ohlman Farm & Greenhouse Inc. begins
new production division with blooming orchid
plants

Larry Ohlman Jr. becomes both

and owner of Ohlman
Farm & Greenhouse Inc.
